The primary purpose of the California Land Conservancy is to encourage and facilitate the preservation, protection or enhancement of land in its natural, historical, agricultural, forested, or open space condition or use.
This is 60 acres located in Mojave Desert in Kern County approximately 15 miles west of Rosamond, California. These conservation lands are managed by the CLC and consist primarily of desert wash habitat.
CLC holds a conservation easement on the 17 acre Wilson Creek Wetlands Mitigation Bank in southwestern Riverside County with beneficial rights to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
This is a 330 acre property located on the eastern slope of the Saddleback Mountains located between the Cleveland National Forest and a housing development. The property primarily comprises chaparral, sage scrub, coast live oak woodlands and riparian forest habitat. The property is held in fee title.
