WELCOME TO THE CLC

The California Land Conservancy is a non-profit organization that facilitates the acquisition and donation of private property for the purpose of permanent conservation by purchase or development mitigation. The CLC also owns and manages several conservation properties throughout California.

CLC has facilitated the transfer of many properties from private ownership to conservation status. Most of these transfers have resulted in public ownership of the land to agencies such as the Western Riverside County Regional Conservation Agency, State of California, County of San Diego, County of Orange, OC Transportation Corridor Agency, and OC Transit Authority. 

The CLC is also a proud member of the Land Trust Alliance.
